Firefly Spirit: The World of Flicker Bayn

I am Flicker Bayn. I dwell in the in-between: amid islands and pixels, in the intersections of memory and imagining. I am not here to dazzle, but to invite into deeper ways of being.

In the world of Second Life, I craft virtual spaces that celebrate nature; humble, intimate sanctuaries where stories can be spoken, silences held, and belonging gently stitched together like woven mats on warm floors. I move through these landscapes with a lens, capturing stillness in photos and breathing life into moments through machinima.

In real life, I’m a young writer. A traveler. Occasionally invited to speak here and there across the world mostly to listen, to learn, and to share stories of justice, faith, bodies, and being. But this blog isn’t just about that version of me.

These reflections, though born in Second Life, are imbued with the textures of real-life experiences and encounters. This blog seeks to weave them together, virtual and visceral, imagined and lived, into a tapestry of presence, hope, and gentle resistance.
